Ikan Bakar @ Bukit Bakri

最初从朋友那里听说了这间巴口烧鱼,关于这家只卖海鲜的餐馆,关于从不售卖白饭的老板,关于自由开放地让顾客外带食物,还有关于海鲜与叁峇辣椒的完美搭配。直到一个特别的夜晚,兜兜转转,MuarKaki 终于来到了位于巴口新村的巴口烤鱼。巴口烧鱼是个适合家人朋友聚餐的地方,大约有15桌所以无需等待。地方非常宽敞,绝对适合把酒问青天高谈阔论天下事,不怕干扰到邻座的顾客!我没有注意到店家有任何菜单,想必读者们大可向老板或伙计询问当日的新鲜活!
I have heard so much about this Ikan Bakar and MuarKaki finally had the chance to visit this place on a special day! This place is famous for its depth of flavors from a perfect combination of sambal and seafood, and also they are very specific when it comes to the food they serve - ONLY seafood! They do not serve even rice, so you are most welcomed to bring your own rice and other dishes too! SO, all the publicity is true. The place is spacious with around 15 + dining tables. I did not notice any menu in the restaurant but I guess you could just go ahead and consult the waiter/waitress for the daily menu as I think they receive seafood daily and check it for quality and freshness before it is even prepared and served.

各式新鲜海鲜都摆放在桌子上,方便食客挑选。
一踏入门口,迎面而来的是一阵阵海鲜烧烤味,夹扎着呛鼻的辣椒香,我想我打了约5个喷嚏,潜在的食欲也即刻被挑起!看着其它食客大口的享受者鲜虾苏东啦啦烧鱼的,我已经大力向老板娘挥手示意,尽早点菜!

上菜的时间刚好在我们闲聊家常后,大约10-15分钟。严重警告了摄影小姐加快拍照的速度后,大开杀戒的时间终于到了!升级加大版的辣炒啦啦是个亮丽的开场,香辣的辣椒渗透啦啦里头,带出啦啦的鲜甜却不盖过主角的风头!再来闪亮登场的是重量级的烧烤魔鬼鱼,鲜红的叁峇辣椒底下藏着嫩滑的魔鬼鱼肉,再将酸柑汁均匀的洒上,我想这光是想像就能令我口水直流了!接下来的烧苏冬和大虾卖相十足,令人食指大动,欲罢不能

Once we stepped in the shop we were welcomed by a spicy peppery smell which immediately stimulated the nerves and caused 5 sneezes in a row! We were all so hungry and did not wait too long to order. The serving time was just nice, 15 minutes when we just got done with gossiping! Spicy “lala” was the first to be served. Juicy clams flesh with an added fragrant sambal spice blend was fantastic. Next, we had the sambal grilled Ikan Pari. Mild, flaky-textured fish fillet served with sambal and lime juice squeezed on top was simply amazing. My Goodness, my dear readers, if you are going, PLEASE make sure you bring some rice with you! The last two dishes we had were grilled calamari and prawns which were both amazingly cooked!

海鲜的新鲜程度佳,所采用的辣椒香而不过分辣。有点可惜的是我们忘了点原味烧烤海鲜,听说是将海鲜用姜片酱清等爆香炒熟,听起来相当不错!整体来说,食物服务场合等都好,单纯不做作,让我颇有微言的也只有两点:魔鬼鱼的肉质有点逊色,苏冬也或许能多烧个10秒。最后MuarKaki奉劝各位自认是饭桶的读者自行携带白饭或到邻近食阁购买。若运气好碰上老板家里有多余白米饭,可向老板讨一些,很有人情味呢!老板也欢迎顾客们打包其它食物和店里的食物一起享用,非常开通民主呢!
三两知己来这里点上几样,再来几瓶啤酒,大声说大声笑,人生也不过如此嘛!

They offer a wide variety of fresh seafood ranges from fish, squid, calamari, prawns, clams/”lala” and etc. This is also the place where you’ll find flavored and interpretations not to be easily found somewhere else. In short, food and services are amazing. However, I wish they could grill the calamari for another 10 seconds maybe? Hehe Also, the quality of Ikan pari we had was not as fresh and tender as we thought! A friendly reminder once again, you are welcomed to bring additional dishes / rice as you wish!
Come enjoy the warm atmosphere as I definitely think it is a great place to hang out with the BFF. Awesome food, chilled beers and great company, who can ask for more?
