Otak-otak at Muar Part 2


多数人往往提到麻坡,自然而然就会想到乌达 Otak-Otak. 而身为麻坡人的我,当然也可以算是吃着Otak-Otak 长大。如果你细心观察,麻坡的每样食物都和乌达脱离不了关系。
Muar always reminds people about otak-otak. As a Muarian, I live up with otak-otak with no doubts. There's definitely something to do with otak-otak with all food servings in Muar.
鸡饭和云吞面档总会有一个盛装乌达的小篮子,吃饱饭后老板就会问你总共吃了几枝;只有麻坡的肉骨茶会有乌达来搭配你的芋头饭;槟城的炒粿条有大虾,麻坡的炒粿条绝佳搭配乌达加荷包蛋。当然还少不了家家Asam鱼店都有的蒸乌达啦!
You will find otak-otak in a small basket at most of the chicken rice and wanton noodle stalls. Besides, only bak kut teh in Muar will serve you otak-otak with yam rice. You can find tiger prawn in Penang char kuey tiao, yet otak-otak is perfect add-ons with sunny side up in your Muar style char kuey tiao.
可想而知,麻坡真的是有很多很多很多家的乌达档/店面啊!继上回Muarkaki 为大家总结的乌达排行榜后(将近2年前!),我们这次算是采集了读者们的意见,把好吃的及上回的漏网之鱼再一一比较。注:我们并不是什么美食家,我们给的意见也真的纯属个人喜好,总结总结让你参考。如与你的观点有偏差,谨请包涵。
Honestly speaking, Muar really has a lot of otak-otak stalls. After our compilation of otak-otak reviews from 8 different stalls 2 years ago, we have now gathered some other reader's opotions on otak-otak for comparison this time. Note: we arent't food critics and whatever feedbacks we gave are merely based on personal preferences for your reference. 

经过了两天的采购(因为有些营业时间的关系),我们这次会把8家来自麻坡各个角落的乌达进行比较。很可惜这次也还是miss掉了一间只在晚上才能买到的乌达 L 多数人会被我们的乌达照片给震撼到。说实在的,如果你不是在同一个时间里吃着不同口味的乌达的话,其实你真的会比较难去区分各间各档乌达的差别。
Due to the business hour of each respective otak-otak stall, it took us 2 days to complete our otak-otak purchase. Yet, it's pretty sad that we have missed 1 otak-otak stall which opens at night only. Most of the people are impressed by the photo taken by us and if we aren't eating all these otak-otak at one time, there we could hardly differentiate the distinct taste or flavour for each of them.

试吃结果总结如下:

第一名:集金 Golden Gathering
第二名:阿梅 Cheng Boi
第三名: 亚文 Ah Boon  

麻坡的乌达价钱已渐渐提高,从我小时候的RM0.30 知道现在的RM0.70。而这次排名第一的集金乌达价位也是榜首中的榜首,一枝乌达也卖到了RM0.80。老板娘也坚持说这一款是绝对真材实料的。个人原先就认为RM0.70有些贵了,更何况是RM0.80呢?但一分钱一分货。如果你不介意付上多一点的话,你是可以选择吃吃看这家集金的乌达。  
如果你要兴趣想尝尝集金的乌达的话,请记得打电话给老板娘提前预购乌达。这家集金乌达店并不接受任何walk-in啊。除此之外,它的价位也比一般来得高!阿梅的乌达自然在每每麻坡人当中都有一定的地位,但就这一次我们觉得它的乌达好像少了一样我们熟悉的味道,多了一种我们不晓得怎么去形容的雅达叶味。亚文的乌达是我自小就熟悉的,尤其如果你也是Bomba 对面 - 康记肉骨茶的常客。这家乌达就是康记肉骨茶的其中一家乌达供应商。而服务方面,前三名里,最喜欢的就是阿文。
Price for a stick of otak-otak has been increasing from 30 cents to 70 cents today, not to mention the otak-otak rank #1 in our list is gonna cost you 80 cents. There are 2 types of otak-otak stick in Golden Gathering and the lady boss has insisted us to take up this so call special one aka expensive one as the fish meat portion is more. If you don't mind paying a little bit more for premium quality, then you could try out the otak-otak from Golden Gathering.
If you would like to try out this Golden Gathering otak-otak, bear in mind, you can't just walk into the stall to get it. Do drop a call the owner before you heading to the shop. Don't be surprised by the cost of it. It is undeniable Cheng Boi otak-otak is one of the favourite for most of the Muarians but we foudn that it has additional scent (from the leaves perhaps) that cover the taste of otak-otak away. Ah Boon otak-otak is somewhat familiar for me as it is one of the otak-otak suppliers of my favourite bak kut teh shop opposite bomba. In terms of service among the top 3, we like ah boon the best.


写了这篇的结论是萝卜青菜 各有所爱。就像乌达一样。我喜欢重味道,够辣的乌达,但你可能坚持喜欢你喜欢的油腻腻,多鱼肉的乌达 J 
The only thought that comes across my mind after writing this post is: Everyone has his or her own personal preference. I like to take otak-otak's spiciness into consideration but you would probably prefer the oily and meaty one.

Otak-otak @ Muar

咚锵咚锵咚锵,终于来到令人振奋的第十篇!我们精心策划为读者们带来了“麻坡乌达全攻略”终于登场了!!
其实在麻坡处处可见售卖乌达摊位,而且种类也越来越多元化。从原有的鱼肉虾肉进化到苏冬,啦啦,鱼头,螃蟹乌达,但是真真好吃道地的在哪找呢?我们决定Back to Basics,把目标锁定在最基本的鱼肉乌达。抱着一股锲而不舍的精神和寻根究底的kepo本事,我们探听到了几家名声与品质俱佳的乌达档口。花了大约一天的时间翻转麻坡,终算让我们品尝和收集到一些资料!叫人可惜的是我们错过了两家店的营业时间。唉,两条漏网之鱼啊!

现在麻坡乌打都定价在60¢, 但幸运的我们竟然在麻坡巴冬找到了一支50¢的乌打。这是一间产量蛮大的乌打制造商,一般上在巴冬巴东的餐馆都能吃到,我知道的还有另一间就是旅客熟悉的津津鱼头米粉,在那也能吃到。

在麻坡,一般上,不论是面档,肉骨茶餐室,甚至到鸡饭粒档口,我们都不难找到乌打的踪影,当乌打成了配角时,我们都没有真正的品尝它,为了更好的介绍麻坡这头号美食,我们把乌打荣升为主角,仔细品尝,和大家分享

其实不只在柔佛州,我们都能找到标榜着“麻坡乌达”的乌达摊位。其实呢,身为一位麻坡人,我对好吃的乌达定义却很简单。新鲜的鱼肉加上黄金比例的椰浆和辣椒配料是最基本的要求。可悲的是,这样食品逐渐商业化,间接导致商家们为求己利益而摒弃了对乌达的道地风味的坚持。个人很偏心的觉得阿梅乌达最能让我尝到麻坡乌达道地的古早味,而且非常新鲜!美食难找,所以若你知道还有其它卧虎藏龙的麻坡乌达,希望读者们能与我们分享!
